Kristofer Langlais
Director of The Longevity Lounge | ACE Certified Personal Trainer | NASM Stretch Coach
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the infantry, Kris developed an early appreciation for physical fitness, resilience, discipline, and the incredible things the human body is capable of achieving. Today, he brings those lessons into a broader philosophy of health one centered not simply on working harder, but on moving well, recovering effectively, building strength, and creating sustainable habits that support a lifetime of activity.
As an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and NASM Stretch Coach, Kris works with individuals across a wide range of ages, abilities, and fitness levels. A consummate student, he continually strives to deepen his understanding of the human mind and body, then translate that knowledge into practical information people can understand and use to improve their own lives. He believes that empowering people to better understand their bodies is an important part of helping them build lasting health, confidence, and independence.
Kris’s approach emphasizes functional strength, mobility, balance, cardiovascular health, and movement quality while meeting each person where they are. Whether someone is returning to activity, pursuing an athletic goal, or simply wanting to remain strong and capable as they age, he believes fitness should ultimately help people do more of what they love outside of the gym.
At Houghton Physical Therapy, Kris serves as Director of The Longevity Lounge, overseeing the Longevity Lounge and helping bridge the gap between rehabilitation, fitness, recovery, and proactive wellness. His work combines exercise, education, and modern recovery technologies to help individuals develop practical strategies for supporting their long-term health and performance.
An active endurance athlete himself, Kris understands that health isn’t about perfection or chasing a number on a scale. It’s about building a body and a lifestyle that allows you to continue experiencing life on your terms.
His philosophy is simple:
Build a stronger body. Develop a resilient mind. Create healthier habits. And keep moving forward one step at a time.
